he SC-651 from TOA Electronics is a paging horn speaker designed for outdoor applications. The speaker has a power rating of 50W and has a specially-designed diaphragm that uses heat-resistant polyimide film to prevent moisture absorption and to improve low frequency response. The construction of the diaphragm also maximizes efficiency for a strong performance.
The speaker meets IP65 standards for resistance to dust and water. The external horn flare is made from shock-resistant aluminum, while the external hardware is constructed from stainless steel. Everything is treated with 50-micron thick powder paint, which is approximately 3 times thicker than the coating used on conventional horns. The mounting bracket makes it easy to install and aim the speaker for wall, pole, or ceiling applications.
